Becca Hallstedt (they/them) is a multimedia artist and naturalist hailing from Chicago. After working for over a decade in the games and film industry, they began their Master’s in Conservation Biology at University of Miami and started a new portfolio that is built around their love of nature.

Through their worker co-op Wild Blue Studios, they have worked with over a dozen interactive media companies such as Riot Games and Epic Games. Becca greatly values creative experimentation, getting hands-on familiarity with their subject, interdisciplinary collaboration, and getting their hands dirty with paint and soil. They are a Cook County Certified Master Naturalist and avid gardener, spending as much time as possible in nature to nurture their relationship with the outdoors.
